About this deal

Towards the end of this Brusho techniques video I created an abstract floral just to explore the medium. It can be used for a whole variety of artistic applications, from staining wood and card, creating fabric wall-hangings to making watercolour designs. Brusho Powder can be used to create many different techniques by sprinkling on wet paper, applying to dry paper and spraying, and mixing with water to create a watercolour paint. Using any of the above simple techniques you will have a glorious spread of vibrant colour in moments. When you sprinkle the powder onto wet paper it immediately dissolves, and color explodes across the page.

If you are using Brusho to stain cloth it is worth noting that the colours are not fixable on fabric. There are ste by step instructions, and illustations, that will guide you through a range of different technique. p>

The powder paint can be used in various ways: by sprinkling on wet paper, applying to dry paper and spraying, and mixing with water to create a watercolour paint. Brusho are pots of water-colour crystals which are transparent, intermixable, incredibly vibrant and highly pigmented. Whilst Brusho powders are Non toxic and do not present any specific risk to health it is always worth taking precautions.Spritz water on to watercolour paper, sprinkle Brusho Crystal Colour on to the paper and it bursts in to colour. It can be used by mixing directly into water or with simple sprinkle techniques, to stain wood, paper or fabric. p>Made in the UK, the highly pigmented watercolour crystals react to water to create interesting watercolour effects. Because the pigment powder is so fine, some artists may wear a mask, especially if they suffer from respiratory problems. Ingestion - In the event of accidental ingestion of the powder or the solution, wash mouth out with water, give water to drink.

Water-Soluble Wax pastels work in the same way as the Water Soluble pencils, apply before you use the Brusho inks, during or after, the choice is yours! She realised that not only did Brusho allow her to create images with a vibrancy unlike anything else, it also forced her to keep things loose and impressionistic – a style that has seen Joanne’s work sold in major high-street retailers and galleries across the UK.
