About this deal

As when I read the advertisement it touted itself as a 1440 device which is Quad HD, however when I got the Box it refers to itself as 4K Device.

Picking the original Xbox 360 version of Mirror's Edge - which gets enhanced by X to push a native 3840x2160 - gives a very cleanly presented example. The rule of thumb, as with the mCable before it, is that the algorithm prefers lower resolutions - and that's a challenge, because the more practical setting for Switch is 1080p in a bulk of games. Given the rise of UHD TV sets it would have been useful, but at least, the other benefits of the mClassic do show up, even at the peak 1080p output.

Pre-owned Certified: Electronics products are inspected, cleaned and (if applicable) repaired to excellent functional standards.Indeed, if there’s a system that could really benefit from the mClassic’s capabilities, it’s the Nintendo Switch, where games often run at 720p or 1080p with no anti-aliasing. The added cables dangling from my media center are a bit unsightly, but the mClassic isn't difficult at all to set up. This is essential for us to see any image at all from consoles like Saturn, SNES, Mega Drive or beyond. Likewise for the rebooted GRID; a 1440p game on X with dynamic resolution, the algorithm has a very limited effect all round to 4K output content.

While some games on the PS4 are sub-1080p, many support HDR so it'll have to be a personal preference. Over the past week I have been testing out the Marseille mClassic to see just what this graphics post-processor upgrade is capable of on Nintendo Switch and what follows is my considered take. on Xbox 360 has been OK but now going back and playing Resident Evil titles for achievements on that console, it feels smooth, clean and very easy on the eyes. And, speaking of the mClassic's ability to make a world more visually arresting, just take a look at how it injects Pokemon Sword with far enhanced background object definition.Marseille advertise even older consoles, going back to the 32 and 16-bit eras - including images of older machines like the Sega Saturn, so I figured it'd be worth a try. The image looks incredibly smooth and I didn't notice any increase in input lag even though there's another HDMI device between the TV and console. native content will be passed through the mClassic, while 1080p content will be enhanced when displayed on a 4K or even 1080p TV or monitor. At any rate, if you really don't like seeing jagged corners in your games then you really ought to consider picking up the mClassic.

If you connect it to a PS4, Xbox One X, or PS4 Pro, then you'll have to live without the better colors. This is especially notable when you look at the under shadow on Geralt's nose or the golden strap to the left of either image.
